What people are saying about Greenpoint
I love Greenpoint, it's one of my favorite neighborhoods. McCarren is a great place for dogs, they have two dog parks. I also like Polish food, so Greenpoint is perfect for me.
There has been more development in Greenpoint in the past 2 years. Walkable for sure, parks, friendly are and some amazing restaurants.
Greenpoint is my favorite area in Brooklyn. Diverse so culturally rich. The G and L line right there. A lot of original stores and for the most part safe. Lively weekend night life.
We love it - so much community and support. Everyone really uses the local playgrounds, parks, pools, library etc. so it's easy for kids and their parents to make and sustain friendships because you see the same people all the time. The local elementary schools all have good reputations.
Every young person in the world wants to live here
Literally the best neighborhood to raise kids, numerous great public schools, beautiful parks and so many programs for kids - the McCarren Rec Center is all free for kids too!
