Camelback Road. Phoenix, AZ 85013 Nina Pearl "Mickey" Alexander, was called home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2000. Mickey was born January 12, 1914 in McCloud, Oklahoma. She married W.E. "Chuck" Alexander in 1951.

Chuck, preceded her in death on March 7, 1990. Her daughter, Sammie Rae (Hooten) Johnson also preceded her on Her only grandchild is George W. Johnson of Arizona. Mickey was a long time member of Mission Drive Baptist Church in Phoenix and had made many friends during her lifetime. Mickey's surviving known relatives include her brother, Otto Gaines and wife Ellen of California; her niece, Julia Stevens and husband Bob of Texas; her niece, Fay Porter of Arizona; her great niece, Joyce Zieche and husband Gregory, and great great niece, Elizabeth Zieche, all of Arizona.

James Albert (Jim) Baumgartner, 53, a former resident of Phoenix, passed away Oct. 18, 2000 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska after a brief illness. the son of Albert and Pearl (Wollen) Baumgartner and was born November 4, 1946.

After attending elementary schools in Kearhe received his BA in Business from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and MA in Business from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was employed by NCR and the Dean Witter company before his retirement and lived in Phoenix, El Paso and Dallas. He was preceded in death two years ago by his father and is survived by his mother; two sisters: Debra Baumgartner of Kearney and Susan Sutherland of Marietta GA; two nephews; and his Significant Other, Toni Sweeney, Horner-Lieske Funeral Home of Kearney handled arrangments. Darrel LeRoy Crane, 88, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away November 8, 2000. Darrel moved to Phoenix in 1959 his wife who preceded him in death. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his 3 daughters: Mrs LeRoy Park (Patricia), Mrs. Gary Gressmen (Connie), and Mrs William Watson (Nita).

Sister, Gwen Reid; brother, Vaughn Crane. He' has 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Greenwood RICHARD FRANK SARGIS "Dick" Richard Frank Sargis (Dick) passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2000.

He was was 67. Dick was the son of Julia and the late Joseph Sargis who immigrated from Iran. Dick was born and raised in Chicago. He attended Jamieson Grade School and Amundsen High School where he was a member of the basketball team. Dick began playing saxophone in fifth grade for school band and continued playing throughout his life.

Dick was a member of the Chicago Federal of Musicians, Local 10-208 for many years while pursuing his avocation. Dick attended North Idaho Junior College in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho where he received an "Associate He was a member of their basketball team. In 1953, Dick was drafted into the U.S. Army and served as radio operator and band member in Korea and Hawaii. When Dick was discharged, he attended De Paul University in Chicago and received a "Bachelor of Arts" degree.

Dick started his career in Insurance and worked for Insurance for ten years. In 1969, Dick joined The Hartford Insurance Group in Chicago. In 1977, he transferred to the Hartford's Home Office company in Hartford, Ct. He specialized in the settlement of personal injury claims utilizing the periodic payment concept until his retirement in 1994. Dick was a loyal CUBS fan who agonized over the many losing seasons.

His fondest CUBS memories were the 1945 World Series and the playoff years of 1984, 1989 and 1998. His worst memory was on August 14, 1969 when the CUBS had a 9 game lead but were overtaken by the Mets. Dick was also a lover of Jazz. The music of Charlie Parker was his favorite. His Jazz collection is extensive and representative of the period covered by "BE-BOP" and Golf was always his favorite participating sport in Connecticut and Arizona.

Dick also had an appreciation for fine wine. Initially red MEDOC and in later years California fine wines. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Rita Sargis; dear son, Joseph Sargis of Stamford, dear stepson, Michael Ferguson and his wife Becky of Wilmington, N.C.; dear sister and brother in law, Connie and Kenneth Yonan of Winnetka, dear brother and sister in law, Raymond and Linda of Park Ridge, IL; nephews Ken Yonan, Christopher life Yonan, Ryan Sargis and Marc Sargis. Dick had a great passion for and will be deeply missed. He was a kind, caring and loving friend to the many people's lives he touched.

He was born July 18, 1925 in Dunn Station, PA, the son of Arthur R. Day Sr. And Edna Dunn Day. Mr. Day was a long time member of the North Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix.

He graduated Trinity High School and the University of Pittsburgh Pharmacy School, and was a registered pharmacist in both Pennsylvania and Arizona. Mr. Day was a veteran having served in the United States Army Medical Corps during the Korean War. On June 15, 1955 in Houston, PA he married Mary Agnes Jenkins who died October 1, 2000. Surviving are a daughter, Carroll Ann Day of Phoenix, and two brothers, Reverend Arthur R.

Day Jr. of West Newton, PA and David P. Day of Conover, NC. Funeral services for Mr. Day will be held in Pennsylvania, however, a memorial service will be held in Phoenix, at North Phoenix Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 14 at 1 p.m.

A popular songwriter of the forties through the sixties in the Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Steve Eydie vein, he enjoyed a prolific career, including a few chart-topping hits and gold records. He was also involved in motion picture scoring such as "The Man from the Diner's Club" and "A League of Their Upon retiring in the late seventies, he stayed busy conceptualizing ad campaigns for radio, television and print. He is survived by his 99-year-old mother, Margaret; life-ling partner Evelyn, 82; son Frank, 46; and grand daughter Saira, 22. He was and will forever be the world's greatest Sal Thomas Lombardi, 69, of Phoenix AZ, died November 10, 2000. Graham D. McKenna, age 66, of Mesa AZ, passed away Friday, November 10, 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Services will be held Wednesday, November 15th at at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S.

Dobson Mesa. Donations to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Phoenix AZ 85016 are requested. Warren R. McKenney, 66, of Commonwealth Court Casselberry FL (formerly of Phx Az), died Tues, of Parkinson's disease.

Mr. McKenney was a truck driver. Born in Nestors Corner, he moved to Central Florida in 1999. Survivors: wife, Virginia; daughters, Shelia Erickson of St. Louis Tonia Grittman of Phoenix Az, Cyndi Meyers of Winter Springs Pamela Hintz of Glendale Az, Debbie Brown of Texas; sons, Wade McKenney of Las Vegas NV, Scott McKenney of Mesa Az, Michael Humes of Glendale Lonnie Burgess of Fl; 20 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Arroya Vista Drive West, Phx Az 85028 or Vistas (Hospice), 5151 Adanson Street Suite 200, Orlando FL 32804. Corissa Rae Morgan 29, was born September 21, 1971 in Texarkana, Texas.

She moved to Phoenix, Arizona when she was 2 years old. There she resided until she was 15 years old where she attended school at St. Vincent De Paul and Maryvale High School through her sophom*ore year. She was an active Girl Scout Leader as a teen on the high school track team in relays. Corissa was baptised and served as a junior deacon at First Christian Church of Glendale.

She and her parents moved to Sunizona, Arizona where Corissa graduated from El Frieda High School in 1989. She was a Varsity Cheerleader, active as the school photographer, and was known as After high school graduation, she returned to Phoenix where she was employed as an EMT for Rural Metro and was also at several of the Samaritan Hospitals. She married Ron Burchett of Phoenix in 1993. They had three children, Justin David, Cody Morgan, and Chelsey Rae. In 1998, the family moved to Lakewood, Colorado.

There she was employed as the office manager with Denver Winair. On November 5, 2000, she and her friend, James C. Cloutier were killed in a single-engine airplane crash. The accident occurred approximately 2 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2000 when their plane crashed into the side of Pastora Peak in the Four Corners area of Northeast Arizona. They were returning from a weekend pleasure trip in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She will be missed by her son, Justin, age 9 and her daughter, Chelsey, age 4 as she joins her infant son, Cody in heaven. Other survivors are her loving parents, Isaac Neal Morgan father, of Sunizona, Arizona, and Ruby Rae Morris, mother and husband, Lloyd Morris, of Wilcox, Arizona; two sisters, Kathy Morgan-Bergt, and husband Jimmy of Texarkana, Texas Jean Morgan-Wood and husband Michael (Woody) of Glendale, Arizona, one brother Isaac "Ike" Neal Morgan Jr. and wife Bami of Peoria, Arizona. Also nieces and nephews Scott, Michael, Jessica, Stephanie, Hank, Isaac, Ja'nee, and Christopher, great-niece and nephews Anthony, Sabrina, and Colton. The family will be at the residence of Jean Wood, 623-842-8420 on Sunday and at the home of Isaac, 623-486-3562 after the services.

Services will be held at the Christian Church of Glendale at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2000. Arrangements are with GreerWilson Funeral Home, 5921 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ. Graveside services will be at Sunset Cemetery, on Airport Road, in Wilcox, Arizona at 12 noon on Tuesday, November 14.

James Emerson Sellers James Emerson Sellers died on November 9, 2000 in Mesa General Hospital due to complications from surgery. He was born in San Jose, on April 26, 1924. He served in the U.S. Marines in WWII and also in the Korean War. Emerson worked in the Washington School District in Phoenix for 30 years as principal at Moon Mountain School and Mountain View School.

He also served at other schools in the Washington District as teacher assistant principal. Emerson attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and Bradley University in Peoria, where he received both bachelor's and master's degrees in School Administration. He is survived by his wife, Marge, son Steven, and grandchildren Max and Scott Sellers, and Heath Deerr. He is also survived by a sister, Ruth Sellers. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 17th at 3:30 pm at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E.
