YSRCP sets up control room to monitor counting

YSRCP has set up a dedicated control room to assist its counting agents and candidates on Tuesday (counting day). The control room has been set up to guide counting agents and clear their doubts about rules as and when required. YSRCP general secretary and state govt advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who held a videoconference with party’s regional coordinators, candidates, and counting agents on Monday, asked them not to leave the counting centres till declaration of results. He particularly asked the counting agents to be on high alert. “YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is winning the elections for sure. But don’t take the counting process lightly. Stay on high alert,” he said. Asking counting agents to be aware of the rules and regulations regarding validity of votes, Sajjala told them to point out any anomalies and take them to the notice of the returning officers. “Counting agents should not hesitate to point out the anomalies and take the support of candidates and senior officials present at the counting centres. We just want the officials to complete the process in a transparent and legal manner. We do not need any favour from them, but just want them to follow the rules. Our counting agents should make them follow the rules,” he reiterated.
